🙏 I am Sayoni Biswas, and I come from a humble home in Murshidabad, where dreams and hope shaped my childhood. Growing up in a middle-class family, I always envisioned a life of happiness, surrounded by loved ones, with opportunities to build a future. I married into a modest family in Birbhum, and we were blessed with a beautiful son, who is now 2 years and 3 months old. By God’s grace, he is healthy and full of life.

However, our journey took a tragic turn with the birth of our daughter, Aaradhya Chandra, on November 5, 2024. From the very first moment of her life, she faced a battle that no parent should ever have to endure. On the day she was born, doctors discovered two lumps on her back, a sign of something far more serious. We were advised to consult a surgeon immediately, but as the days went by, we sought a second opinion, unsure if the local doctors fully understood the gravity of her condition.
Within a month, we traveled to Chennai, hoping for answers, only to be hit with the devastating diagnosis of Sacral Spina Bifida—an extremely rare condition that affects only 1 in 100,000 children. My heart shattered into a million pieces as I learned that without surgery, Aaradhya faces the very real threat of severe complications, including potential paralysis in her lower body. The doctors emphasized the urgency of the situation, warning that infection could cause fluid to accumulate in her brain, leading to life-threatening conditions.
Aaradhya is now just 1 month and 12 days old. She is so small, so fragile, and yet the weight of the world rests on her tiny shoulders. The cost of her surgery, which is required within the next few weeks, amounts to around 6 to 6.5 lakh rupees—an amount far beyond my means.
To make matters worse, my husband, who had been tirelessly seeking help and solutions for our daughter, lost his job in Kolkata. Our world has come crashing down. I have fought through many hardships in my life, but now, as a mother, I find myself utterly helpless. My heart breaks each day as I look at Aaradhya, knowing that her future depends on this surgery—her very survival depends on this surgery.
If we don’t act quickly, the consequences could be irreversible. The surgery itself will take 4-5 hours, and as a mother, I can’t help but wonder—will she make it through? Will she come out on the other side, alive and healthy? It’s a terrifying thought, but it’s one I must face to save her life.
I am reaching out today not just for financial help, but for hope, for prayers, and for the strength to face the impossible. Please, if you can contribute in any way, it would mean the world to me. I am begging you, not for myself, but for my daughter, who deserves a chance at life. I cannot do this alone.
Please share her story, spread the word, and if anyone has connections with NGOs or organizations that can help, I would be forever grateful. Time is running out, and every moment counts.
Today, I stand before you as a desperate mother, pleading for her child’s life. Please, pray for us, and help us give Aaradhya the chance to live, to grow, and to be the happy child she deserves to be. ?
Thank you for your kindness, for your prayers, and for your compassion.
