Some Huntress builds ask you to aim well, dodge c****ly, and keep pressing damage buttons every second. Companion Spirit Walker isn't really that kind of setup. It's built around letting a trained beast take the **** hits while you stay back, move smart, and keep the fight under control. In Patch 0.5.1, it's also a handy choice for players who don't want to sink loads of Path of Exile 2 Currency into rare uniques before the build feels playable. Once Mighty Silverfist joins you, the whole character changes pace. You're no longer forcing every pack down yourself. You're guiding the fight and letting your companion do the heavy lifting.

How the Build Gets Started
The early campaign is ****le enough. Most players will have a smoother time using a Crossbow through the first two acts, with Explosive Grenade doing a lot of the work. It clears groups well, doesn't need fancy gear, and keeps you moving. That matters, because the real build doesn't fully wake up until Act 3. When you reach the Jungle Ruins, you'll want to pick up Tame Beast and hunt down Mighty Silverfist. After the tame succeeds, your job shifts. You stop playing like a standard ranged damage character and start playing more like a handler. Keep distance. Reposition. Let Silverfist connect with packs before you step too close.

Why Mighty Silverfist Matters
Mighty Silverfist is the reason this setup feels different from the usual minion-style build. It's big, s****y, and hits hard without needing much babysitting. Its melee swings are good enough for regular monsters, but the Totem Slam is what you'll really notice. Packs get flattened fast, and tougher enemies take real burst damage when the slam lands c****ly. You'll still need to pay attention in boss fights, of course. Don't just stand still and admire the ape. But compared with many direct-damage builds, the pressure on the player is lower. Silverfist draws attention, blocks space, and gives you room to breathe when fights get messy.

Ascendancy and Gear Priorities
Spirit Walker works so well here because its bonuses line up with what the build already wants. Catha's Balance is one of the key picks, mainly because it pushes companion damage in a way you can actually feel. You don't need a pile of mandatory uniques to reach that point either. Rare gear with useful defensive stats and companion-related bonuses will carry you a long way. Later on, Runemastered Tyranny's Grip is a strong upgrade, especially after work at the Verisium Bench. It fits neatly with Catha's Balance and gives Silverfist more bite in harder maps. If you want more bo****s on the field, Sylvan's Effigy is worth looking at too. Adding Azmerian Wolves won't replace Silverfist, but it does make fights busier for enemies and safer for you.

Endgame Feel and Who Should Play It
This build suits players who like steady progress more than frantic button-mashing. It can handle campaign play, early mapping, and later encounters because the core idea stays reliable: your companion survives, deals damage, and keeps enemies occupied while you manage positioning. It's also friendly to newer players, since mi**** are less punishing when Silverfist is taking most of the heat. Players planning bigger upgrades can still invest over time, and checking options such as Path of Exile 2 Currency for sale may help them compare market costs before chasing endgame gear.
