Cross Country Milestones

In cross country competition, Patrick Wales-Dinan also guided athletes to historic achievements. In the 2013 season, Chris Enriquez qualified individually for the National Collegiate Athletic Association Cross Country Championships after finishing 10th at the NCAA West Regional.

This result marked the highest regional finish in Long Beach State history and made Enriquez the first athlete from the university to qualify for the national championship in the modern era.
